About

Meet your estheticians

  • Gisel Hermosillo, an esthetician in a white smock over a black top, leaning on a studio counter beside a small tray and a plant

    Gisel Hermosillo

    Esthetician and owner

    • Esthetician license · AZ Lic. 000000

Gisel grew up in Flagstaff and opened Lavender for neighbors who spend their days on trails, slopes and job sites. She plans each facial around the season and writes a short note of how your skin was, so the next visit starts there. She is in Tuesday to Friday.

  • Karissa Gleason, an esthetician with an auburn bob in a grey cardigan, standing in a treatment-room doorway with a window and plants behind her

    Karissa Gleason

    Esthetician

    • Esthetician license · AZ Lic. 000000

Karissa came up from the Valley and works the same way: ask first, then slow down. Many of her clients are runners and cyclists, and she sees most of our shave-day facials. She is in Thursday to Saturday.

How we work

Four habits

  • We ask first

Every client starts with a conversation about their skin and their days.

  • We pace to the season

The same facial runs differently in January and in July.

  • We write it down

A short note after every visit, so the next one starts from it.

  • We say when to stop

When a facial isn't the answer, we suggest a dermatologist or your doctor.
